| Description | H A L L S is a song based on the popular creepypasta called “The Backrooms”. According to Wikipedia:
“The Backrooms is an urban legend and creepypasta that tells the tale of an endless maze of randomly generated office rooms. It is characterized by the smell of wet carpet, walls with a monochromatic tone of yellow, and buzzing fluorescent lights. [..] The original version came from a two-paragraph 4chan comment on a post asking for ‘unsettling images’, where an anonymous user invented a story based on one of the photos.”
This simple story has since been expanded into an ever-increasing world of strange entities and otherworldly beings in otherwise surreal environments, mostly inhabiting in the Backrooms website. The song by CG5 focuses on and is based off the popular analog horror series by youtuber Kane Pixels, which has become the most popular Backrooms content to date, amassing millions of views.
The original 4Chan post of the backrooms had the quote:
