| Description | The first song from Coal Chamber’s self-titled album and the band’s first single. The song’s intro is noted for being similar to the riff of Fear Factory’s song “Suffer Age”. Sometime after the release of the album, a video directed by Nathan “Karma” Cox and featuring Ozzy Osbourne was made to accompany the single. It became the band’s best known song and was included on The Best of Coal Chamber. http://youtu.be/V-sYWaOrLdI The special edition of Coal Chamber included four versions of the song: a demo from 1994 and three live performances (recorded 1996, 1998, and 1999). The demo version was previously released on Giving the Devil His Due. The demo displays quite a few differences from studio version. The drums have more of an industrial feel, the instrumental on the chorus and bridge is faster, and the bridge is screamed instead of sung. |
