Description | The song is probably a reference to an incident in 1979 with American Airlines Flight 191, which revealed a fatal flaw in the design of the McDonnell Douglas DC-10’s cargo doors and caused it to crash. For quite a while, DC-10’s were seen as unsafe by the public, which was around the time this song came out. |
