DescriptionThis B-side to the “Hail, Hail” single is an homage to Dennis Rodman, fan of the basketball-fanatic band and personal friend of theirs. The colors refer to the Chicago Bulls jersey and “The Worm”’s oft-bleached hair. Rodman contributes an “answering machine” phrase in the song, and appeared during a 2016 performance in Chicago, where he lifted Eddie on his shoulders.

Lyrics[Verse 1]
Exponentially serving
Perpetually unnerving
Vehicle swerving
The adjectives they are all a-blurring
Freud walkin' the sidelines, clipboard scoring the brain
Black magic viente y tres, makes me sane

[Chorus]
Hormones firing like a fifty foot Roman, yeah
Please don't make me explain, don't matter anyway
[Verse 2]
Phantom pain in my brain
It's all that's left of my leg
Black and red and yellow, black and red and yellow
Heard you repeat a-what you heard
Me knowing the truth I cannot concur

[Chorus]
Hormones firing like a fifty foot Roman, yeah
Please don't make me explain, don't matter anyway
Hormones firing like a fifty foot Roman, yeah
Please don't make me explain

[Bridge]
Yo bro, tell us what's happening
Um, I'm on the west, west side of, on the west coast
Give me a jingle, uh, when you get in from where the fuck you're at

[Chorus]
Hormones firing like a fifty foot Roman, yeah
Please don't make me explain, doesn't fuckin' matter anyway
Hormones firing like a fifty foot Roman, yeah
Please don't make me explainYou might also like
